8:16 pm - Top Five Scooby-Doo Intros According To Me.
|
As many probably know by now, I'm a Scooby-Doo fan, though I'm a pretty picky Scooby-Doo fan. Pretty much the only Scooby-Doo series I like are Scooby-Doo Where Are You!, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, and What's New Scooby-Doo. Though The Scooby-Doo Show is pretty decent, too.
Now while this may be the case, I will admit that some of the series I didn't like had some pretty cool theme songs and opening animations, so I decided to make a list (with a little help from Youtube) of my Top 5 favorite Scooby Themes (with some little bonuses, too).
( Cut all day long! )

Marble Madness
Hey, everyone, it's my first (of possibly many) comic referencing Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, the highest grossing badly reviewed money in existence. WOO! Personally I enjoyed the movie for the most part, there were some things that bothered me (much like the first movie), but I found it overall enjoyable. If your not afraid of spoilers and would like a somewhat more detailed explanation of my feelings on the movie, I guess you can read this.
While this strip references a specific scene from the movie, I don't think it's very spoiler-ish, and it makes fun of Bakugan more than TF: ROTF. For those that don't know Bakugan is some weird Japanese imported cartoon show and toy line that kinda' plays like a weird Yugioh version of marbles from my understanding. To be honest, I don't really get it, but my step daughter is totally into it. Is this what's it like when you start getting old? GET OFF MY LAWN!
Anyway, Bakugan are these little ball shaped things that transform into other things...yeah... supposedly they're supposed to turn into robots, dragons, or monster... but really, they just look like the marble sprouts random things out of it... like I said I don't get it, but seemly it's all the rage with kids these days. Sigh... at least Transformers are still around so I can still relate with young'ens on that... right? RIGHT? Sigh...
Next post I can talk to you guys about the TF: ROTF toyline if you are interested in that since I've gotten quite a few figures since the movie came out and I wouldn't mind taking some time to let you know what I think of them.
Also let's give another round of applause for Chris Jones. His coloring just continues to blow me away. Also give an applause to my friend, Cary Woodham, he's been my proofreader since the comic started. When I get some extra time a side, I plan to add both Chris and Cary to the Artists section of the main page. Unfortunately my life has been a tad crazy lately, but I think we should be getting some calming down soon.

Lush Slush
I’m having a pretty terrible day, so I can’t think of anything I can really say or that would be entertaining… so… ummm…
Hope you guys are enjoying the comic. Woo.

8:26 pm - I think this show is called Bravestarr
|
Seemly the Spanish narrator needs to reconfirm with the audience that the show is indeed called Bravestarr.

7:59 pm - He-Man Theme In Spanish

Wow! The Spanish version of the He-Man theme is actually pretty damn awesome. Wish I could understand what they were saying though.
Edit: replaced with a better version

3:42 pm - The distant future of 2005...

This is my favorite version of the Transformers theme song, too bad it also showcases some of the worst animation in the entire series.

The Royal Treatment
Today's comic talks a bit about Shelly's backstory. This is something I've wanted to reveal about her for a while, but never got a chance to. So I'm happy to finally get this out. I hope it adds a bit to her character, since character development is ALWAYS a good thing.
In other news, if all goes right, I should get to watch Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen today. My expectations are pretty low for the movie, so as long as I get giant robots fighting each other, I should be happy.

5:07 am - Transformers: Revenge Of Some Guy... With Flames... I Think...
|
I saw Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen today. I have to say I liked it, I even liked it better than the first movie (though to some that may not say much). But even though I liked it, there were some things that bugged me with this movie (much like the first), so I'm going to list the top five things I liked and disliked about TF: ROTF.
( Cut because it's potentially spoileriffic )
Otherwise, I was rather pleased with the movie.

Drill Dozer
Oh, man. For starters I want everyone to welcome Chris "MistaJonz" Jones, he will be the new colorist here on Femmegasm. His abilities at coloring far surpass my own, so I feel that the tag teaming of my lineart and his coloring will help improve the work on Femmegasm 10 fold. Today's comic is the first of his coloring work, and I hope you like it. Both me and Chris would like to hear what you think.
Anyways, today's comic is a Gurren Lagaan meets Super Mario Bros. style parody. This idea was inspired by the trailers for Super Mario Galaxy 2 that had Mario holding up a giant drill. Seeing the giant drill I couldn't think of anything other than Gurren Lagaan and went with it. Though Mario and Gurren aren't the only things referenced in this comic. Can anyone guess the third thing?
Also I'm thinking of stopping the donation wallpapers. No one really donates, and those things take a lot of time to make, so it kinda' feels like a waster effort to me. Am I right? Let me know?
