HOLY SHIT!

I just finished watching the WWE Royal Rumble. I have to admit, #30 on the list caught me completely off guard. Brilliant surprise there, WWE. I applause you.

I HATE YOU, WWE! QUIT TOYING WITH MY EMOTIONS!

For a couple years now I have been secretly hoping (okay... maybe not secretly) to see Micky James jump in the ring (either teamed up or against... preferably against) with my all time favorite female wrestler Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald. Well, Molly's been away from WWE for quite sometime, so I've pretty much cut it off as something that would never happen. Well... here comes the Raw 15th Anniversary special...

A lot of peeps were making rather random (and not so random) appearances through out the show. A lot of people I haven't seen in years. At one point we saw (very briefly) Molly Holly and Mickie James talking to each other. I was all like "HOLY SHIT! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! I LOVE YOU WWE!". Regal shooed them off, and that was it. They were never seen again throughout the rest of the show! What the hell?! I get to see her for like a minute? Two minutes?! And with all the stupid promo non-wrestling and flashback crap they kept throwing in through out the episode, they couldn't give me at least one wrestling match with Molly?! Or at least shown her for more than two minutes?! Instead I have to tolerate more of Gillian's singing, actually having to look at Lita, and wondering what the hell happened to Trish Stratus (SERIOUSLY! Did she binge diet to hell or what?! She looked like a frikkin' twig!), and no more Molly Holly!!!

WWE set me up for the match of my dreams, then they flushed it all down the toilet! Why WWE! Why do you hurt me like this! Why do you hurt me, baby! Why must you tease me so much. Why must you raise my hopes only to throw them in the trash. You're making me cry, WWE.

*Tear*

On a more humorous side, this incident did get one fun reaction out of me. I was ranting about this issue to [info]mutt12 (in a purposely melodramatic way), and [info]rekii asks me if I want to see them wrestle or have sex. I respond with "Wrestle... I want them to have wrestle."

Yeah...

I'm really smooth aren't I. ;)

WWE News

If any of you watched WWE Raw last night, you more than likely noticed Candice Michelle did a rather nasty fall. I'm not talking a stage fall, I'm talking an actual fall on your head and neck BAD fall. Granted this was further proven when Beth Phoenix had to drag Candice's dead weight body to the center of the ring (she was knocked COMPLETELY unconcious).

I was surprised WWE didn't cut to a commercial during this fiasco, which would be the usual routine in this case. The last thing they generally want to show is one of their superstars being seriously injured. They typically only like to show you fake injuries. So I found that rather odd.

Anyway Michelle's injury has been revealed today. She has a concussion and a broken clavicle (collar bone). The concussion seemed obvious considering her reaction to the medics coming to her aid. They had to put her in a neck brace, which made sense considering the fall, but I still wasn't expecting a broken clavicle. That's a pretty nasty injury.

I hope Candice gets well soon. She's (finally) developed into quite an entertaining wrestler and WWE has had enough injuries at the moment as is. Though there has been a lot of gals backstage that have been needing a little more wrestling time (like Mickey James! Mmm... Mickey). Still I wouldn't wish an injury like that on anyone. I hope she heels okay.
